Field Trips for the Kahu Wai Project
Our outdoor education experiences are designed to coincide with what the students are simultaneously working on in their classes. Our intent is that the field work will reinforce similar lessons in class. We will work with teachers to provide background information, materials and support to help students design their research projects. Students will have the opportunity to design many aspects of their own research projects. Field work is meant to be investigative in nature, and will focus on specific questions.
There are four local sites that students will experience, accompanied by experts in their fields. Click on the links below to visit.
